Weekly Offerings at Studio Meisō
Yoga Nidrā
Mondays 5:30PM | Thursdays 9:30AM
Yoga Nidra, often called “yogic sleep,” is a meditative practice that invites you into a state between waking and dreaming where the body deeply rests while the mind remains gently aware. In this liminal space, layers of stress and tension dissolve, opening access to clarity, intuition, and inner healing. It is the magical art of intelligent sleep—a pathway to restoration that nourishes both body and spirit.
Sādhanā
Fridays 11:00AM
Sādhanā is the dedicated practice of turning inward through ritual, movement, breath, and meditation to attune with the deeper currents of life. It is both discipline and devotion, weaving together intention and awareness to transform ordinary experience into sacred encounter. Each sādhanā becomes a journey toward alignment, presence, and the art of becoming.
October Workshop Series at Studio Meisō
A four-part embodied journey invites you to meet the fierce, untamed, and liberatory faces of the Divine Feminine in the Sanskrit tradition. Rooted in the tantric vision that all of life—light and shadow, pleasure and pain, form and formlessness—is sacred, this series becomes a descent into the hidden and the forgotten, a turning toward what we often fear to discover its wisdom.
As autumn deepens and the veil between worlds thins, we gather to engage shadow as teacher. In this frame, darkness is not the absence of light but the fertile womb of becoming—shaped by what has been, gestating what is yet to emerge. Each week, you will encounter a dark embodiment of the Goddess—Durgā, Kālī, Dhūmāvatī/Chinnamastā, and Lalitā Tripurasundarī—not as distant deities, but as living archetypes and inner energies guiding you toward wholeness.
Through the weaving of myth, movement, and contemplative practice, this series becomes a therapeutic encounter with shadow where integration becomes the pathway to embodied power.
This is not a bypassing of darkness, but a ceremonial descent framed in ritual—a remembering, a reflecting, a releasing.
Tuesdays in October at 6:00 PM

Sanskrit: Seeds of Sound
An Embodied Journey through Language & Vibration
This workshop series is an invitation to explore the Sanskrit alphabet not just as a system of language, but as a living, vibrational body. Rooted in oral tradition and spiritual practice, each session reveals how Sanskrit sound is formed, felt, and transmitted—awakening a deeper relationship with language as sacred energy.
Part 3: The Power of Vowels – Breath, Space & Life Force
Explore the energetic dimension of Sanskrit vowels. These subtle yet essential sounds reveal the breath-body relationship and open new layers of presence in both chanting and speaking.

Additional Modules
Part 1: The Resonance of Sound – Aurality & Embodiment
(Completed July 27, 2025)
Our opening session introduced the sonic body of Sanskrit through experiential practice. Participants learned to feel the alphabet as a map of vibration, exploring how sound resonates in the body through listening, voicing, and breath. We also touched on the oral tradition's history, where Sanskrit was passed down through deep presence, attunement, and memorized recitation. This session laid the foundation for embodied listening and vocal sensitivity.
Part 2: The Written Form – Devanāgarī & Text as Sound Embodied
(Completed September 27, 2025)
Building on the vibrational experience of sound, Part 2 explores how Sanskrit transforms from voice into form. This session introduces the Devanāgarī script—its structure, meaning, and symbolism—and guides participants through writing Sanskrit letters and simple words. Writing becomes a meditative act, deepening the connection between hand, sound, and self.
Part 4: The Power of Consonants – Shape, Stability & Manifestation
Dive into the grounding structure of consonants as the architects of language. This session uncovers how sound becomes form—how vibration becomes speech—and how meaning is held in each syllable.
Teacher Trainings & Continuing Ed
200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training
For the Love of Yoga: A Path of Embodied Transmission
This is not a training built around perfecting poses or teaching in studios—
It’s a journey into the heart of your own practice.
Designed for seekers, space-holders, educators, and curious practitioners, this program reimagines what it means to become a teacher. It doesn’t offer a single method or mold, but rather the conditions to uncover your unique voice, rhythm, and relationship with yoga as a living tradition.
Just as there is no one way to walk the path of yoga, there is no one way to share it. Through ritual, philosophy, self-inquiry, and embodied experience, you will refine your understanding from the inside out. Teaching then becomes a natural extension—not of performance, but of presence.
This training cultivates nervous system resilience, intuitive knowing, and the therapeutic benefits of sustained, dedicated practice. You’ll explore transmission not just as a profession, but as a practice of integrity, where what you share is rooted in what you live.
This is a calling.
This is a return to the source.
This is a deepening of relationship with yourself, with the practice, and with the sacred responsibility of sharing it.
