Sādhanā

Weekly at Studio Meisō

A ritual practice of embodied meditation rooted in Tantric philosophy and lunar rhythm.

Sādhanā is a Sanskrit word for spiritual practice—a disciplined path toward realization. This guided ritual offers a sacred space to deepen awareness, clarify perception, and reconnect with what truly matters.

Informed by Śākta Tantric wisdom and supported by contemporary neuroscience, Sādhanā honors our patterned nature while offering a way to reshape it.

As new neural pathways form through ritual and repetition, reactive tendencies soften. Over time, the practice restores calm, clarifies perception, and supports the emergence of intuitive discernment. This is yoga not as performance, but as presence.

Sanskrit: Seeds of Sound

An Embodied Journey through Language & Vibration

This workshop series is an invitation to explore the Sanskrit alphabet not just as a system of language, but as a living, vibrational body. Rooted in oral tradition and spiritual practice, each session reveals how Sanskrit sound is formed, felt, and transmitted—awakening a deeper relationship with language as sacred energy.

Part 2: The Written Form – Devanāgarī & Text as Sound Embodied

September 27, 2025 // 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Building on the vibrational experience of sound, Part 2 explores how Sanskrit transforms from voice into form. This session introduces the Devanāgarī script—its structure, meaning, and symbolism—and guides participants through writing Sanskrit letters and simple words. Writing becomes a meditative act, deepening the connection between hand, sound, and self.

Additional Modules

Part 1: The Resonance of Sound – Aurality & Embodiment

(Completed July 27, 2025)

Our opening session introduced the sonic body of Sanskrit through experiential practice. Participants learned to feel the alphabet as a map of vibration, exploring how sound resonates in the body through listening, voicing, and breath. We also touched on the oral tradition's history, where Sanskrit was passed down through deep presence, attunement, and memorized recitation. This session laid the foundation for embodied listening and vocal sensitivity.

Part 3: The Power of Vowels – Breath, Space & Life Force

Explore the energetic dimension of Sanskrit vowels. These subtle yet essential sounds reveal the breath-body relationship and open new layers of presence in both chanting and speaking.

Part 4: The Power of Consonants – Shape, Stability & Manifestation

Dive into the grounding structure of consonants as the architects of language. This session uncovers how sound becomes form—how vibration becomes speech—and how meaning is held in each syllable.

Upcoming Workshop Series

Dark Goddesses: Descent Into Power

A 4-Week Embodied Yoga Journey into the Sacred Shadow

October 2025

Enter the sacred season of descent. This powerful workshop series invites you to journey with the fierce feminine forces of Kālī, Cāmuṇḍā, Durgā, Lalitā, and Mahādevī—not as deities to worship, but as energies to embody.

Rooted in tantric philosophy and supported by therapeutic yoga tools, this is a space to explore the wisdom of darkness as a portal for healing and transformation. As the days shorten and we move inward, we honor the shadow not as something to fix, but as fertile ground for release, reflection, and rebirth.

Each session blends myth, movement, mantra, and breath-based practices that nourish the nervous system, invite inquiry, and ritualize your relationship to the unknown.

Teacher Trainings & Continuing Ed

200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training

For the Love of Yoga: A Path of Embodied Transmission

This is not a training built around perfecting poses or teaching in studios—
It’s a journey into the heart of your own practice.

Designed for seekers, space-holders, educators, and curious practitioners, this program reimagines what it means to become a teacher. It doesn’t offer a single method or mold, but rather the conditions to uncover your unique voice, rhythm, and relationship with yoga as a living tradition.

Just as there is no one way to walk the path of yoga, there is no one way to share it. Through ritual, philosophy, self-inquiry, and embodied experience, you will refine your understanding from the inside out. Teaching then becomes a natural extension—not of performance, but of presence.

This training cultivates nervous system resilience, intuitive knowing, and the therapeutic benefits of sustained, dedicated practice. You’ll explore transmission not just as a profession, but as a practice of integrity, where what you share is rooted in what you live.

This is a calling.
This is a return to the source.
This is a deepening of relationship with yourself, with the practice, and with the sacred responsibility of sharing it.
