About Bari
A yoga storyteller and spiritual pragmatist, I guide others through imagination and inner exploration to uncover what’s real, sacred, and resonant within.
With over two decades of yoga practice and more than ten years of teaching, Bari blends ancient philosophy, therapeutic insight, and personal experience into spaces where people can connect with themselves and each other in meaningful ways. Her work is rooted in creativity, sustained by passion, and guided by a deep commitment to justice—not as an abstract ideal, but as a lived relationship between self and society.
Her path has never been linear. From leading marketing campaigns for global brands in New York City to navigating life with Crohn’s disease, Bari’s journey has been one of transformation—shaped by resilience, inquiry, and the quiet strength of listening. Her diagnosis didn’t break her; it became a sacred messenger, awakening a lifelong exploration of how the body speaks and how practice can help us listen.
Through movement, mantra, ritual, and reflection, Bari teaches that practice is not about performance—it’s about presence. Her classes, workshops, and therapeutic sessions create space for people to show up as they are and become who they’re meant to be.
Bari holds a Master’s degree in Yoga Studies and a Postgraduate Diploma in Yoga Therapy. She designs contemplative programming for Camp Oasis (serving youth with Crohn’s and colitis), consults with Girls With Guts (an organization for women with IBD and ostomies), and serves on the board of Sacred Spectrum (bringing yoga to neurodivergent communities).
Her work explores what it means to live with courage and practice with integrity—not based on how it looks, but how it feels in your own body. One breath, one moment, one myth at a time.
